GISize! gets momentum in Greencities

Smart cities are long demanding much more that the necessary proposals and theoretical discourses, and more specific technical solutions able to solve all the challenges for the real-time information management of city infrastructures. With this in mind, we have attended for the third time to Greencities, a leading event in Spain for smart cities.

Our presence in Malaga focused on several issues. On the one hand, the Meet&Talk Day was devoted to “Technology solutions for smart city infrastructures”; we participated in the Forum with 2 conferences about technology and or own stand, which presented our latest technology solutions for city infrastructures management.

However, the most highlighted solution was GISize!, both for the interest achieved in the stand itself and with the conference at the Meet&Talk Day. The appeal generated by GISize! starts with its nature, since GISize! is a set of tools and documents developed to increase the awareness and performance in real-time information management of infrastructures – airports, subway networks, water cycle, irrigation systems, etc. – that provides answers for specific issues. And that’s what many companies require when they attend an event like this. The attendants attended the hands-on demos in the stand, equipped with two displays, and during the MATday conference, for a better understanding of the tool and its capabilities.

GISize! has been developed to reduce the time needed by integrators to get experienced in Application Server and other infrastructure projects, and to ensure that all systems enforce the best practices and architectures available. GISize! is a framework for infrastructure projects, and it’s based on our experience and know-how about smart cities and specifically about airports.

It’s not surprising that this product was widely received among the companies that came to visit our stand. This strengthens our view and confirms that GISize! is a good reference to work in the future – and to come back next year to Malaga with further developments.
